A number of medical clinics and doctors are specialising in medicinal cannabis and are experienced in prescribing. Your regular doctor may prefer to support your care in a ‘shared care’ model by referring you a doctor that is experienced in medicinal cannabis use. In a shared care model both doctors work together to support your care.

Many of these clinics offer Tele-Health services making it easy and convenient to consult with a doctor, no matter where you are in Australia.

This service has a clinic is based in the Gold Coast but also provides a telephone-based TeleHealth Services.

Patients who are interested are required to register online to receive an information pack.

CA clinics

CA clinics are a Sydney-based clinic focus on helping patients with chronic conditions and have many GPs and specialists that can prescribe medicinal cannabis.

The initial screen to assess eligibility is via telephone or videocall and can be booked here.

Individuals may be eligible to participate in medicinal cannabis clinical trials. At present we are not recruiting for our Australian Clinical research.

An observational study will commence shortly for patients prescribed Bod Pharmaceuticals Medical Cannabis. The normal cost of the medicine and practitioner consultation applies for observational trials.
